About the Role:

The SEO Intern will be tasked with supporting the SEO Department as they work to deliver organic search results for their clients. In this role, the intern will learn SEO fundamentals, and apply that knowledge through guided work, assisting with elements of technical site optimization, Google Business Profile management, directory citation management, content publishing, and data compilation.

Responsibilities Include:

• Optimize Google Business Profile (GBP) pages, and publish Google Posts
• Learn the fundamentals of SEO reporting, and how to use Semrush, Screaming Frog, and other industry standard SEO tools
• Pull data for client reports and ongoing case studies
• Publish SEO content pages on Dealer Inspire websites (Wordpress platform)
• Review and optimize directory citation profiles
• Other projects and duties as assigned

About YOU: 

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team oriented environment and a desire to work on challenging projects
• Organized and detail oriented with a can-do approach to projects
• Creative problem solving
• Responsible initiative ownership
• Comfort in working independently
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Preferred:

• Working towards a Bachelor’s degree in sales, marketing, communications or related major
• Experience with GSuite

About Our Internship Program: 

Our Summer Internship Program at Cars Commerce is designed to help undergraduate students learn professional skills through a combination of mentorship, on the job training, in-person skills training/development days, and team projects.

Program Details & Benefits:

• Program Duration: June 10th - August 16th
• Pay Rate: $17.50/hour
• Hours: Full-time, 40 hours/week
• Location: Hybrid(Work remote and work from the office 1-2 days out of the week)
