Job Description
Greet patients and visitors warmly and professionally
Answer incoming phone calls, respond to inquiries, and direct calls appropriately
Schedule and confirm patient appointments
Verify insurance information and collect co-pays or payments
Check-in and check-out patients using electronic medical record (EMR) systems
Maintain patient records, ensure accuracy, and protect confidentiality
Assist with general administrative tasks such as faxing, scanning, and filing
Communicate effectively with medical staff and assist in patient flow
Handle patient concerns or complaints with empathy and escalate as needed
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the reception area
