About The Position

We are seeking a skilled Dermatology Physician Assistant for a short-term locum tenens position in Georgia. This 8-day assignment starts on 04/07/2025, with a schedule of Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 8 AM to 5 PM (with 8 AM to 4 PM on some days). The ideal candidate will be comfortable managing a variety of general dermatology cases, including hair loss, acne, rosacea, warts, moles, nail fungus, psoriasis, and skin checks. This role offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic dermatology setting, providing comprehensive care to patients.

Provider Type Needed: Dermatology Physician Assistant 

Schedule: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday 8 AM - 5 PM (some days 8 AM - 4 PM)

Job Responsibilities and Duties: 

• Perform comprehensive dermatological examinations and skin checks 

• Diagnose and treat various dermatological conditions 

• Manage cases including hair loss, acne, rosacea, warts, moles, nail fungus, and psoriasis 

• Conduct four skin checks per hour as scheduled 

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans 

• Educate patients on skin care and preventive measures 

• Interpret diagnostic tests and skin biopsies 

• Collaborate with other healthcare providers as needed 

• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records using eClinicalWorks EHR system 

• Adhere to all practice policies, procedures, and safety protocols 

• Ensure patient comfort and satisfaction throughout visits 

• Stay updated on the latest advancements in dermatology

Additional Information: 

• Must be licensed as a Physician Assistant in Georgia 

• Experience with eClinicalWorks electronic health record system preferred 

• Strong expertise in general dermatology procedures and treatments 

• Ability to work independently and as part of a dermatology team 

• Excellent communication skills for patient education and care coordination 

• Flexibility to manage a diverse range of dermatological cases 

• Possibility of assignment extension beyond the initial 8 days
