Emergency Medicine Physician Adventist Health White Memorial Emergency Department

• ED Volume: 64,000
• ED Beds: Licensed for 28 ED beds; designated fast track and advanced urgent care with monitored beds area as well
• Staffing Model:
  • 50 hours of physician coverage daily
  • 40 hours of APP coverage daily
• EMR: Cerner with Dragon dictation
• Teaching opportunities with the 5 AHWM residency programs

• Average daily encounters: 5
• Pediatric Hospitalist shifts are 12 hours in house
• Responsibilities include admission & discharge, patient rounding, and general Pediatric care
• Pediatric services available: Allergy/immunology, Endocrinology, Gastroenterology, General pediatrics, Hematology/Oncology, Infectious disease, Neonatal intensive care unit (NICU), Ophthalmology, Orthopedics, Otolaryngology (ENT), Pediatric intensive care unit (PICU), Surgery, Urology
• Excellent nursing staff, therapists, technicians, and ancillary staff

Salary

• Excellent compensation package with an estimated employed W-2 range of $121/hour to $255/hour. PLUS, industry-leading benefits including: $75,000 of Equity Ownership given to all full-time physicians after 2 years of employment, up to $35,000/year from our 10% company-funded 401(k), $4,000/year of tax-free BEA/CME ($6,500 plus State and DEA license fees in year one for new graduates), 100% Paid Parental leave, 100% Paid Military leave, Comprehensive Medical/Dental/Vision/Rx coverage, Short- and Long-term disability (own occupation) and Medical Malpractice with tail and free litigation support.
