Line Tech / Service Technician / Mechanic

Land Rover of Roaring Fork needs to hire a Line Tech / Service Technician / Mechanic who has experience doing basic maintenance, such as: steering, suspension, flushing, water pumps, etc. We have lots of hours of work available!

Responsibilities – Line / Service Technician:

 

• Perform quality repair and maintenance work that meets dealership and manufacturer standards on recalls, general maintenance and diagnostics
• Clearly write and communicate needed repairs/maintenance and the parts and time needed to repair
• Repair broken or worn mechanical and technology components
• Maintain repair and service records
• Install equipment, components, and systems
• Test vehicles both before and after repair
• Repair electrical wiring, circuits and fixtures
• Other duties may be assigned according to expertise and certifications

 

 

Qualifications/Requirements – Line / Service Technician:  

• Diagnostic experience preferred
• Auto repair experience required especially with regard to steering, suspension, brakes, maintenance and electrical
• ASE certification is a plus
• Must be able to use a variety of computerized systems
• Ability to be analytical and multi-task
• Good work ethic
• Valid driver's license and good driving record

• Must pass pre-employment testing to include background checks, MVR, and drug screen.
