Associate Attorney

Associate Attorney - Civil Litigation

Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Associate Attorney to join our Civil Litigation team. The ideal candidate will assist in managing a diverse caseload involving civil litigation, including insurance defense, personal injury, and premises liability matters. Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation and filing of legal documents related to civil litigation cases.
• Conduct legal research and analysis to support case strategies and arguments.
• Draft pleadings, motions, and discovery requests and responses.
• Participate in depositions, mediations, and trials as required.
• Communicate effectively with clients, witnesses, and opposing counsel.
• Manage case files, ensuring compliance with deadlines and court rules.
• Provide legal advice and guidance to clients on civil litigation matters.

Qualifications

• Jurisdictions must be admitted to practice law; a JD from an accredited law school is required.
• 2+ years of experience in civil litigation, preferably in insurance defense or personal injury.
• Strong understanding of civil procedure and litigation processes.
• Excellent research, writing, and oral advocacy skills.
• Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines effectively.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking.
