Certifications & Licenses:

  • State Licensure as a Respiratory Therapist is required \n
  • AARC Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) or Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) is preferred \n
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is mandatory \n
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification is a plus\n

Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality respiratory care to patients across various settings within the hospital.\n
  • Administer necessary respiratory treatments, therapies, and ventilator management.\n
  • Monitor patients' respiratory status and adjust treatments as prescribed by physicians.\n
  • Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to optimize patient outcomes.\n
  • Document patient care accurately and in accordance with hospital policies.\n
  • Respond promptly to urgent respiratory needs and participate in on-call duties during scheduled shifts.\n

  • Proven experience as a Respiratory Therapist in a hospital environment.\n
  • Strong knowledge of respiratory equipment, ventilator management, and emergency response procedures.\n
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively under pressure.\n
  • Ability to adapt to fast-paced healthcare settings and prioritize patient care efficiently.\n
  • Commitment to maintaining the highest standards of safety and patient confidentiality.\n

Preferred Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Respiratory Therapy or a related healthcare field.\n
  • At least 2 years of experience working as a Respiratory Therapist in a hospital setting.\n
  • Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems.\n
  • Demonstrated ability to handle complex respiratory cases and work effectively within a team.\n
