Job Title: Senior Finance & Accounting Manager
Location: Princeton, NJ – Hybrid
Type: Full-Time | Direct Hire
About the Role:
We are currently seeking a highly skilled and driven Senior Finance & Accounting Manager to join our growing team. This leadership role will be responsible for overseeing key financial reporting functions, managing technical accounting activities, and driving treasury operations. The ideal candidate will be a CPA with a strong foundation in US GAAP and a demonstrated ability to operate in a fast-paced, global business environment.

Primary Responsibilities:
Financial Reporting & Technical Accounting:

• Direct the preparation and review of quarterly and year-end financial statements in compliance with US GAAP
• Lead accounting treatment analysis for complex transactions and oversee adoption of new accounting standards
• Manage various general ledger functions including debt accounting and lease accounting (ASC 842)
• Maintain robust internal controls to support the integrity of financial reporting
• Develop and prepare monthly cash flow reporting for executive leadership
• Collaborate with external auditors during year-end and quarterly reviews, managing schedules, documentation, and audit resolution
• Support the consolidation and reconciliation of intercompany transactions

Treasury & Cash Management:

• Oversee day-to-day cash operations and liquidity planning, including cash positioning and short-term financing strategies
• Maintain and strengthen banking relationships and manage compliance with banking requirements
• Monitor, forecast, and analyze cash flows to optimize working capital

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Master’s preferred)
• CPA required
• 5–7+ years of progressive experience in financial reporting, accounting, or audit
• Previous experience in a Big 4 public accounting firm is strongly preferred
• Advanced understanding of US GAAP and technical accounting guidance
• Multinational corporate experience is a plus
• Proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, lookups, modeling)

• Critical thinker with excellent analytical and investigative skills
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing shifting priorities
• Effective communicator, both written and verbal
• Proven ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
• Comfortable working independently in a high-demand environment
