Your role at Hostinger

Are you a pro at using AI for content creation and editing? Do you enjoy experimenting with prompts and tools to craft the best possible content? If so, wed love you to join Hostingers content team as our remote AI Content Editor. In this hands?on role, youll:

Your day-to-day

• AI-driven content creation: Trigger and manage AI-driven content workflows to produce high-quality, SEO?friendly articles and other content at scale. Develop effective LLM prompts to generate content outlines and first drafts aligned with our content strategy.
• Editing & quality assurance: Review, proofread, and edit AI?generated content to ensure grammatical accuracy, proper tone, clarity, and factual correctness. Polish each piece so that it meets our brand voice and quality standards, with no sendbacks needed you are the final pair of eyes before publishing.
• Prompt optimization: Continuously refine and improve AI generation prompts and templates to enhance the relevance and quality of the AIs output. Experiment with prompt engineering techniques to reduce editing time and achieve more consistent, on?brand drafts.
• SEO: Apply SEO best practices to all content to maximize search visibility. This includes optimizing keywords, headlines, meta descriptions, and internal linking. Use SEO content tools to ensure the content supports our overall SEO strategy.
• Editorial guidelines & consistency: Develop and maintain editorial guidelines and style standards for AI?generated content. Train our AI tools (and educate content team members) on the desired voice, tone, and style. Ensure that content across all levels (automated, semi?automated, custom) feels cohesive and authentic to our brand.
• Publishing & CMS management: Trigger automated publishing pipelines and ensure timely publication schedules for all content. Ensure posts are correctly formatted with appropriate headings, links, images, and SEO metadata (titles, alt tags, meta descriptions).
• Innovation & research: Stay up?to?date with the latest developments in AI content creation, LLM capabilities, and content marketing trends. Explore new tools or techniques (e.g., new AI writing platforms, GPT plugin workflows) that could improve efficiency or content quality. Bring creative ideas to the table on how we can further integrate AI into our content operations to gain a competitive advantage.

Your skills and experience

• Experience: 3+ years of experience in content editing, copywriting, and content production, preferably in tech, SaaS, or digital marketing.
• AI & LLM proficiency: Hands?on experience with generative AI tools and large language models (e.g., ChatGPT, Gemini Gems, etc.).
• Advanced prompt engineering skills to guide AI in producing high?quality content, and the ability to troubleshoot or iterate on prompts for better results. Familiarity with AI content detection and optimization techniques is beneficial.
• Content editing skills: Excellent writing and editing abilities with a keen eye for detail. You can spot grammatical errors, factual inaccuracies, and off?brand tone easily, and you know how to fix them.
• Strong understanding of narrative flow and clarity , ensuring AI?generated text reads naturally to human audiences.
• SEO knowledge: Solid understanding of SEO principles and best practices for content. You know how to optimize a piece for a target keyword without sacrificing quality. Experience with keyword research and using SEO tools to improve content performance is a plus.
• CMS and publishing: Proficiency with content management systems like WordPress. Comfortable formatting content in HTML or the block editor, adding images/embeds, and scheduling posts. Basic knowledge of web publishing standards (metadata, alt text, URL structuring) is expected.
• Domain knowledge: Familiarity with the web hosting industry, WordPress, and related tech is a big plus. If not, you should be eager to quickly get up to speed on hosting technology topics and be able to edit technical content for a general audience.
• Adaptability: Demonstrated ability to adapt quickly to new tools, technologies, and content styles. The AI content landscape evolves rapidly you thrive on learning new things and can pivot as needed.
• Communication & collaboration: Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset. Youll be working with writers, marketers, SEO specialists, and editors being able to explain AI results or editorial decisions to non?writers is important.
• Independence & ownership: This role has no direct managerial duties, but it requires a high degree of ownership. You should be self?motivated and able to run with a project with minimal supervision from prompt creation to final publishing. You take pride in delivering polished content on time and improving workflows proactively.
