Summary:

As the Senior Accountant, you will oversee general accounting functions for multiple properties and partner with hotel leadership to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance with all internal and external requirements.

Responsibilities

What You’ll Do

• Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements for assigned properties, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Manage general ledger activity, perform balance sheet reconciliations, and review journal entries.
• Support hotel operations teams by interpreting financial reports and providing insight into key business drivers.
• Maintain compliance with GAAP, internal controls, and company policies.
• Assist with annual budgeting and forecasting processes, providing financial support to property leadership.
• Prepare sales tax returns, assist with audit requests, and perform other financial analysis as needed.

What You’ll Bring

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 3+ years of accounting experience, preferably in hospitality or multi-unit operations.
• Strong knowledge of general accounting principles and internal controls.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and familiarity with accounting systems.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to communicate effectively with both finance and operations teams.
