As a Security Guard - Armed Utilities Site - Weekends in Bradley, FL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities and more .

As a Part-Time Security Officer, you'll use our exclusive Claim a Shift platform to view and Pick up open shifts based on your availability-giving you the freedom to build a schedule that works for you, while gaining valuable site experience across various industries. As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a secure environment at a utilities location. Your responsibilities will include conducting routine patrols, remaining highly visible to help deter unwanted activity, and providing outstanding customer service to everyone you encounter. This is an armed and driving post, so you will be required to carry a firearm and operate a vehicle as part of your daily duties. You will interact with employees, visitors, and contractors, responding to incidents and assisting with access control as needed. Pay Rate: $19.60 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor and report any suspicious activity or security-related concerns within the utility location.
• Interact professionally with employees, visitors, and contractors while maintaining a visible presence.
• Follow all protocols for access control, visitor management, and incident reporting as required for a utility environment.
• Support Allied Universal and client management in maintaining a secure environment by adhering to all post orders and instructions.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must possess a valid Armed Guard Card or License.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver's license is required and must meet Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security-related training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
