This position can be based in any of the following areas: Inland Empire / Riverside, Orange County and/or San Diego and will support a large region within the Inland Empire, Orange County and the San Diego markets. A fully paid company take home vehicle is included in the compensation package. Are you our next outstanding Regional Irrigation Manager? If you are a subject matter expert in Smart irrigation control systems with thorough knowledge in design, installation and management of commercial irrigation systems, we want you on our team! Highlights of what our Regional Irrigation Manager will include, but not limited to: Assist region with all aspects of water management including: watering to a budget, being aware of local water restrictions and assist managers to adhere to them, assistance with controller programming, water conservation hardware, etc. Development of relationships with and understanding of regulations of local water purveyors. Keeping abreast of current relevant landscape rebates available in the region. Assist Branch / Account managers in identifying potential irrigation technicians (inside or outside Gothic) and provide support in their development. Proactively identify training needs. Spend time with technicians to identify areas to be strengthened and work with Division Water Manager to develop training curriculum. Assist technicians with technical challenges and use those opportunities to train them and improve their skills. Work with BMs to provide training for new AMs and existing AMs as needed. Provide technical assistance with larger, more complex irrigation projects and estimates. Provide simplified irrigation inspection summaries and quotes for new projects or as requested by managers. All reports should be written in a way that is easy to understand by the client who likely has limited irrigation understanding. Proactively identify and recommend irrigation/water conservation projects to drive increased revenue in the region. Assisting branch and regional managers in identifying and improving efficiency in tech and account manager communication in order to improve revenue capture. Assist with effective project execution to help improve revenue generation and margin. Are you the right fit for this role? Skills & experience that are necessary as a Regional Irrigation Manager will include, but not limited to: Possess a basic understanding of common irrigation vocabulary in Spanish and able to communicate effectively with Irrigation Technicians & Gardeners (bilingual in Spanish is a huge plus). Certified Landscape Irrigation Auditor Certification is highly preferred, but at a minimum, can obtain and maintain Irrigation Association Certifications: CIT & CLIA.
