A sound academic background is also required. Requirements: Familiarization with regional specifications such as SHELL DEPs, PDO SPs, etc. Vast knowledge of international design codes and standards (ASME SEC VIII, ASME B31.3, ASME B31.8, API 675, API 610, API 520, API 526, API 2000, API 650, etc.). Familiarization with static equipment design (atmospheric/pressure vessels). Familiarization with structural design aspects and related deliverables. Ability to review fabrication deliverables and to create/consolidate BOM. Ability to prepare L3 project schedule in MS Projects. Ability to identify project risks, critical path, and capability to plan and devise control measures and mitigation plans.
