Our client, a manufacturer of electrical components is seeking a Production Planner/Purchaser to join their team. As a Production Planner/Purchaser, you will be part of the management team. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter who is passionate about their work. You will also be proactive always striving for savings and efficiencies which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Production Planner/Purchaser

Location: Wichita, KS

Pay Range: $75k - $95K

What’s the Job?

• Plan and release production work orders based on sales demand, forecasts and inventory levels.
• Issue purchase orders to suppliers for raw materials, components, and MRO items.
• Coordinate logistics to ensure on-time delivery.
• Monitor and maintain integrity of inventory levels.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on continuous improvement initiatives, providing planning and purchasing insights to enhance process efficiency.

What’s Needed?

• 3+ years of experience in production planning, purchasing or supply chain management.
• Strong analytical, organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with ERP systems and Excel.
• Excellent communication and vendor relationship management skills.
• Detail-orientated and capable of managing multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
