*Job Overview:*
Principal Geotechnical Engineer takes the lead in planning, designing, and directing geotechnical engineering or construction testing/inspection on simple to complex projects by performing the following duties. Expectations include using education, intelligence, and common sense to resolve problems and tasks that are assigned.

*Education*:

Bachelor's degree in engineering (Master’s degree encouraged) from an accredited four-year college or university and a *minimum 10 years relevant experience or the equivalent thereof.*

*Duties:*

* Oversees project budgets, schedules, and profitability; ensures timely completion and financial success of projects.
* Manages client relationships, leads marketing efforts, attends meetings, and develops strategies to secure new work.
* Serves as a technical expert; ensures high-quality deliverables, supervises civil engineering teams, and upholds quality standards.
* Directs and mentors civil engineering staff, coordinates workloads, and supports professional development.
* Handles contract administration, scopes work, prepares agreements, and ensures proper execution and billing.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $140,000.00 - $180,000.00 per year
