Job Description
Outpatient Substance Abuse Treatment Program in Orange County is looking for a Full-time Substance Use Disorders Counselor . The person in this position will be responsible for professional and administrative provision of services provided in the Outpatient Treatment Program.
The person in this position must be a certified or registered as a chemical dependency counselor and be knowledgeable about substance use disorders, addiction, and treatment. Experience in working with drug Medi-Cal regulations, an offender population and/or bilingual Spanish preferred.
In lieu of certification, MFT-Associates or MSW Interns are encouraged to apply . We will provide clinical supervision required for licensure hours.
Summary of Duties:
· Individual, group counseling and case management interventions used in the treatment of offenders with SUD. This includes the system of care as providing appropriate clinical interventions to assist with admissions, assessment, discharge planning, and the referral process
· Performs work related to the treatment and support of clients with SUD. Responsible for caseload of clients admitted to the program.
· Responsible for key activities related to planning, development, and implementation of program services.
