Piper Companies is currently looking for an experienced Microbiology Technician in Madison, Wisconsin (WI) to work for an innovative and growing laboratory. Entry level candidates welcomed! This is a great opportunity to expand your horizons into a scientific field.

Responsibilities for the Microbiology Technician include:
•Conduct sample analysis and maintain detailed documentation of findings
•Label and provide written identification in the form of sample numbers on laboratory samples
•See to the preparation of media for use in pathogen testing
•Pipette sample solutions into tubes or plates according to the analysis process being performed
•Participate in laboratory housekeeping responsibilities and the maintaining of inventory

Qualifications for the Microbiology Technician include:
•Entry level candidates accepted! Willing to train on aseptic techniques and laboratory protocols.
•AS/BS in scientific field preferred.
•HS Diploma required.

Compensation for the Microbiology Technician include:
•Hourly pay is $18.50+/HR depending on experience
