Salary: $100,000 - $135,000 per year
A bit about us: We are an established and well respected General Contractor/Construction Manager in the Southwest Florida market and are actively seeking an Interior Design Manager to join our team! This individual will be very client facing throughout the entire life cycle of our high-end residential remodel and major addition projects.
You will have the autonomy to run this life cycle as you best see fit for each client's needs and will have access to your favorite design software. This is a great opportunity to join an established organization and help them continue to build out their in-house Design team!

We are seeking a talented and experienced Interior Design Manager to join our team! This role will provide you with the opportunity to work on a variety of exciting projects within our residential division. You will be responsible for creating, developing, and executing innovative interior design plans for residential spaces but also have the opportunity to assist with commercial projects as the in-house team grows
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the interior design team, providing mentorship and guidance to junior designers as the department grows
- Collaborate with architects, contractors, and clients to develop high-quality interior design concepts
- Utilize AutoCAD 3D, Sketchup, and other design software to create detailed plans and renderings
- Oversee the preparation of construction documents, ensuring all designs comply with industry standards and regulations
- Conduct site visits to supervise construction and ensure the design vision is being accurately implemented
- Stay up-to-date with the latest interior design trends, materials, and technologies to provide innovative and creative design solutions
- Present design concepts and plans to clients, addressing any questions or concerns they may have
- Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to source materials and furnishings
- Ensure all projects are completed to the highest standard of quality, reflecting the company's commitment to excellence
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field, preferred
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in interior design, preferably within the construction industry
- Proficiency in design software, including AutoCAD 3D, Sketchup, and CAD Drafting
- Extensive knowledge of residential design, with a portfolio showcasing a range of completed projects
- Strong conceptual skills, with the ability to develop innovative design solutions
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey design concepts to clients and team members
- A keen eye for detail, with the ability to ensure all designs are executed to the highest standard of quality
- A proactive and collaborative approach, with the ability to lead and inspire a team
