Salary/Pay Rate/Compensation:
$21/hour for entry level; wages are higher for candidates with prior experience; Minimum monthly bonuses are equivalent of up to 6% of wages

What’s a typical day as a Forklift Operator? You’ll be:
• Moving lever and pressing pedals to drive truck and control movement of lifting apparatus
• Inspecting the forklift before initial use
• Filling and maintaining all propane tanks and accessories
• Reviewing production schedules and related information
• Requisitioning material and establishing sequential delivery dates
• Examining material delivered to production departments to verify conformance to specifications
• Arranging in-plant transfer of materials to meet production schedules
• Compiling and maintaining manual or computerized records
• Moving or transporting materials from one department to another
• Arranging for repair and assembly of material or part
• Monitoring and controlling movement of material
• Reporting to the Warehouse Manager

This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
• Possess strong written, verbal and inter-personal communication skills
• Have the ability to quickly and repeatedly adjust the controls of a machine of a vehicle to exact positions
• Have the ability to coordinate two or more limbs (for example, two arms, two legs or one leg and one arm) while sitting or standing
• Have the ability to see details at a distance
• Have the ability to quickly move your hand, your hand together with your arm or your two hands to grasp, manipulate or assemble objects
• Have a High School Diploma or equivalent
• Have 1+ years of experience working in a manufacturing environment
• Have 1+ years of experience operating a Forklift
• Possess a Certified Forklift Operator License
• Have knowledge of OSHA Safety Standards and Regulations
• Have a strong understanding of OSHA regulations
• Possess a high regard for safety in the workplace
