This role is perfect for someone who thrives on job site oversight, contract compliance, and resolving field-level challenges. If you bring strong communication skills, a sharp eye for construction detail, and a commitment to project success, we invite you to be part of a company where your work truly matters.

Why Trident Industries?

You’ll directly support field operations that power our communities, ensuring quality and safety are always at the forefront.

Competitive Benefits
We provide medical, dental, and vision coverage, 401(k) matching, life insurance, paid time off, and other benefits that support you both on and off the job.

As a Field Service Inspector at Trident Industries, you will monitor construction activity to ensure compliance with contract terms, drawings, and specifications. You'll be the on-site eyes and ears, providing timely documentation, identifying deficiencies, and supporting resolution efforts that keep projects on track.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct routine inspections on utility construction job sites to verify compliance with safety protocols, drawings, and project specifications
  • Provide detailed reporting of site conditions, contractor progress, and identified issues
  • Communicate with internal teams and customers to address job site concerns and inspection findings
  • Support and coordinate third-party and customer inspection activities as needed
  • Assist the Construction Supervisor with field planning and tracking progress
  • Identify potential design, material, or access issues and collaborate on resolutions
  • Participate in contractor job hazard analysis (JHAs) and contribute to site safety culture
  • Document trends in deficiencies and recommend improvements in construction processes
Requirements:

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in utility, transmission, or related construction inspection work.
  • Strong working knowledge of construction methods, project specifications, and safety standards.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and plans.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and comfort using mobile reporting or documentation tools.
  • Strong communication and documentation skills, with a proactive approach to field reporting and issue resolution.
  • Experience performing job safety analyses (JSA) and hazard assessments.
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to various project sites.

Work Environment & Physical Requirements

  • Ability to stand, walk, kneel, and climb for extended periods in varied field conditions.
  • Comfortable working outdoors in a range of weather conditions.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Must be able to hear, see, and respond effectively in safety-sensitive environments.

Are You Ready to Support Excellence in the Field?

At Trident Industries, we’re looking for individuals who take pride in quality control, field coordination, and proactive project support. If you're detail-driven, safety-minded, and ready to be the boots-on-the-ground for high-impact infrastructure work, we want to hear from you.

Apply today to become a part of the Trident team.
