Julius Silvert is looking to Hire a Day Warehouse Forklift/Reach Truck Operator

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for performing required warehouse functions including the receipt of purchase orders, loading & unloading of trucks, checking in food products, and product handling for purchased items.
• Identifying, sorting, and placing products or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequences such as size, type, expiration date, or product code.
• Label the product with identifying information using the appropriate method.
• Moving products and items from receiving to temperature-controlled storage areas or to other designated areas.
• Work on Letdowns and put them away.
• Organizing warehouse and work area for orderliness at all times.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Able to work in 3 different temperature zones (Dry, Cold, and freezer)

Qualifications:

• 2+ years forklift experience *REQUIRED*
• 2+ years electric pallet jack experience *REQUIRED*
• Reach Truck experience *PREFERRED*.
• Must be accurate and detailed oriented.
• Must have strong communication skills.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities within a fast-paced/high-volume environment.
• Flexible to adapt to changing requirements and priorities
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs
