Cyber Security Analyst

Position Summary:

IEM is looking for a Full-Time- Cyber Security Analyst  to join our IT team at IEM.

Primary Location:

• Remote, candidates can originate from anywhere in the United States (preferring east or central coast applicants), you will work remotely from home or personal office location with travel required as per the business needs.
• All remote work environments require the ability to maintain minimum Internet speeds of 25 Mbps upload and 3 Mbps download, as well as a ping rate of 100 ms or less during working hours, regardless of the type and number of devices using your Internet connection. You must also have account privileges and access to your Internet service provider account during working hours for the purposes of maintaining the Internet connection, if needed.

Essential Functions:

• Provide subject matter expertise related to vulnerability management to leadership
• Work with teams across functions to detect and remediate vulnerabilities within IEM’s enterprise environment. Knowledge of vulnerability management technologies, current threats, and mitigations.
• Tune and configure enterprise security technologies and platforms to meet operational requirements
• Provides reports and data analysis for vulnerabilities to different teams across the enterprise.
• Coordinates and regularly updates enterprise security technology, platform, and documentation to ensure operational health and security.
• Monitor enterprise security technology and platform to ensure required performance, availability, and capacity. Identify gaps in monitoring and potential impact on service delivery.
• Continuously seek to manage and utilize enterprise security technology and platforms more efficiently
• Follow industry, organization, and ITIL best practices to maximize quality and efficiencies
• Quarterly internal and external penetration testing within the environment and providing a service to our external customers

Minimal Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Management Information Systems
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in information technology is required.
• Technical expertise in Windows and Linux operating systems
• Working knowledge of data analysis and visualization tools
• Working knowledge of network operations
• Working knowledge of security software, including endpoint detection and local firewalls
• All applicants must be a US citizen
• All applicants must be eligible to obtain a security clearance

Preferred Qualifications:

• Enterprise vulnerability tool experience (scanning, reporting, remediation)
• Familiarity with enterprise security processes
• OS patch vulnerability evaluation experience
• Knowledge of web application vulnerability evaluation experience
• Endpoint detection and response (EDR) systems
• 5+ years’ experience with AWS, Azure, and GCP security
• 5+ years’ experience with regulatory frameworks PCI, FISMA, FedRAMP, PCI, SOC1, SOC2
• 10 years’ experience as a security analyst performing full-stack information security operations (including vulnerability management, cloud security, network security tools (ie: reverse & forward proxies, firewall), and endpoint security tools (EDR, antivirus, etc.)
• 3+ years’ experience conducting cloud-based cyber vulnerability assessments
• GIAC Certified Penetration tester
• CISSP - Certified Info Sys Security Professional
