We are looking for a detail-oriented Bank Teller to join our client's team in Fresno, California. In this contract position, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring efficient banking operations. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in retail banking and a strong understanding of cash handling processes.

Responsibilities:

• Process customer transactions accurately, including deposits, withdrawals, and transfers.

• Provide exceptional service by addressing customer inquiries and offering solutions to banking needs.

• Ensure compliance with all banking regulations and internal policies during operational activities.

• Handle cash and ensure proper balancing of the teller drawer at the end of each shift.

• Assist customers with account-related services, including opening accounts and updating information.

• Support the branch in achieving sales goals by promoting banking products and services.

• Maintain confidentiality and security of customer information at all times.

• Identify and report suspicious activity in accordance with bank policies and procedures.

• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth branch operations.

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in retail banking or a similar role.
• Proficiency in cash handling and balancing transactions.
• Strong understanding of bank operations and regulatory compliance.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to resolve issues effectively.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in transaction processing.
• Ability to promote banking products and services to meet customer needs.
• Familiarity with banking software and systems.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education in finance or banking is a plus.
