Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Bank Teller to join our client's team in Fresno, California. In this contract position, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring efficient banking operations. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in retail banking and a strong understanding of cash handling processes. Responsibilities: - Process customer transactions accurately, including deposits, withdrawals, and transfers. - Provide exceptional service by addressing customer inquiries and offering solutions to banking needs. - Ensure compliance with all banking regulations and internal policies during operational activities. - Handle cash and ensure proper balancing of the teller drawer at the end of each shift. - Assist customers with account-related services, including opening accounts and updating information. - Support the branch in achieving sales goals by promoting banking products and services. - Maintain confidentiality and security of customer information at all times. - Identify and report suspicious activity in accordance with bank policies and procedures. - Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth branch operations. Requirements - Minimum of 2 years of experience in retail banking or a similar role. - Proficiency in cash handling and balancing transactions. - Strong understanding of bank operations and regulatory compliance. - Excellent customer service skills with the ability to resolve issues effectively. - Strong attention to detail and accuracy in transaction processing. - Ability to promote banking products and services to meet customer needs. - Familiarity with banking software and systems. - High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education in finance or banking is a plus.
