Type: Multi-camera live events and A/V presentation support
Rate of Pay: $21.00 an hour
Positions Available: 1
Hours and Duration: Temporary (seasonal) position--beginning Now through late Spring 2024 --with full-time hours
Description of Responsibilities
The primary responsibility of the A/V production specialist is the pre-production, production, and post-production of the live multi-camera coverage of the committees of the Tennessee House of Representatives . During live legislative committee production, specialists will work in the following roles while assisting full time A/V staff via control room: CG Operation, Technical Direction, Camera Operation, and Conference Room Support. As employees of t he House Clerks’ Office , temporary staff are expected to dress and act professionally, and neutrally, in a political environment.

· Teleprompter Operation
· Camera Operation
· Audio Systems Test
· Troubleshooting Assistance
Conference Room/ Committee Room
· Set up and striking A/V presentation equipment
· Assisting presenters loading and running PowerPoint/PDF presentations and other digital media
· Testing audio and troubleshooting in room control panels
Archival
· Trim and tag video of legislative meetings weekly
· Assist with conversion and labeling of video from previous broadcasts
Experience
Entry and Mid-level experience encouraged.

Existing full-time staff provides training to ensure competency in the performance of the A/V Production Specialist.
