Associate Attorney

As we grow our team, we are seeking an Associate Attorney with defense litigation experience.

Who You Are:

• Juris Doctor from an accredited law school
• Defense Litigation Experience (General Liability, Toxic Tort, Construction Defect, and/or Product Liability) 
• Must be admitted to practice in the state of California
• Experience with motion practice and depositions
• Experience taking lead in plaintiff and expert depositions
• Capable of independent work
• Work in an organized and efficient manner
• Superior research and writing skills
• Ability to multi-task
• Ability to analyze complex matters

What You Will Be Doing?

• Handle local and national accounts throughout the state of California
• Independently manage a litigation caseload
• Conduct depositions
• Prepare witnesses for deposition and trial
• Review and analyze discovery requests
• Prepare and respond to discovery responses and pleadings
• Prepare court filings and service to counsel; experience with e-filing
• Trial preparation and support
• Maintain accurate time records
