POSITION SUMMARY:

Servtech Inc., a Roeslein Company, is seeking a Pipefitter to assist in our manufacture of facilities for the energy, mining, and industrial power markets.

JOB DUTIES AND CHARACTERISTICS TO PERFORM THIS JOB:

• Develop complete understanding of isometric and plan drawings, specifications, and lay-outs.
• Coordinate with Pipe Shop Team Leader to determine project schedule and specification
• Must have immense attention to detail
• Able to operate hand tools
• Organize materials and equipment
• Assist in the assembly of pre-welded piping flanged spools, valves, SS tubing, pipe stands, threaded piping/fittings
• Ensure all assembly is completed per drawings.
• Conduct activities in a safe and healthy manner and work following Servtech Safety Procedures and Policies
• Other duties as assigned

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential function of this job. While performing the duties of this position, the employee is regularly required to walk, stand, use hands and fingers, grip, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl; and talk and hear. Ability to lift and carry 50 lbs. on a regular basis is required. Must be able to stand / walk at least 90% of the time and sit less than 10% of the time.

SKILL / ABILITY / EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE:

• High school diploma or G.E.D. is preferred but not required
• 0-1 year of pipefittine experience is preferred.
• High mechanical aptitude required
• High level of energy and motivation
• Servtech will provide training and education to those strong applicants who may need it
• Ability to read blueprints, ISO’s, and other technical documents is preferred but not required
• Must be able to read a tape measure
• Must be able to perform job responsibilities at heights
• Must possess the ability to interact effectively with all levels of personnel, both hourly and management, in a team environment
