Required Qualifications: Master’s degree in Biology OR Master's Degree From a Regionally Accredited Institution With At Least 18 Graduate Hours In Any Combination Of The Following Qualifying Fields Anatomy & Physiology Biochemistry Biology Biomedical Sciences Biotechnology Botany Conservation Biology Ecology Environmental Science Genetics Marine Biology Microbiology Molecular Biology Oceanography (with a Biology emphasis) Pharmacology (with a Biology emphasis) Zoology Desired Qualifications: Demonstrated understanding of the learning centered approach to teaching with teaching experience and professional certification. Knowledge, Abilities & Skills: A personal and professional commitment to creating an atmosphere of quality instruction at SSC. English reading, writing and speaking skills at the native level of fluency. Ability to utilize technology and innovative pedagogy to enhance teaching and learning. Understanding of and commitment to working with a diverse student population in a multicultural environment. Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
