· Maintain a clean and safe work environment by training and directing personnel on the proper use of equipment and adhering to established working procedures. · Accomplish expected results by communicating expectations; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results; coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; initiating coordinating and enforcing policies and Standard Operating Procedures. · Maintains proper staffing by selecting, orienting, and training employees. · Completes production schedule by assigning personnel; accomplishing work results; establishing priorities; revising schedules; troubleshooting problems; documenting results utilizing our data collection system. · Help establish and maintain production standards through teamwork and communication. · Maintain the equipment by; identifying potential failures and following Preventative Maintenance Schedules. · If applicable, maintain working relationships by following the terms of the collective bargaining agreement. · Improve working conditions and results by utilizing continuous improvement and corrective action systems. · Improve personal skills by attending seminars and other facilities. · Must work as a team member and exploit the strength of team members to improve overall performance. · Perform 5 why accident investigations and root cause analysis. · Manage proper inventory levels to provide a safe and efficient inventory. · Other duties as assigned by management.
